Saverna Therapeutics

Saverna Therapeutics is a drug discovery company that develops RNA-targeting small molecule drugs to combat diseases with an unmet clinical need. We created their corporate identity which included a logodesign and a corporate concept for their company.

When designing the logo, we were inspired by the description of "saverna" in the urban dictionary. This description comes from a novel in which a person named Saverna plays a role: "A spiritual human being who peels oranges like there is no tomorrow. Her life is in with love and character."
We therefore decided to use a peeled orange as the starting point for the logo. In addition, the orange peel has a helical structure like an RNA molecule. The company is committed to finding drugs that can target RNA. Finally, the shape of the logo has the shape of the capital S, which is the first letter of Saverna.
